A Buck for Ubumi Children's Campaign 2012
A Buck for Ubumi has been scheduled this year to coinside with the Hudson International Festival. A Buck for Ubumi is the Children’s Campaign sponsored by Mayor Currin to support the education of Hudson’s adopted orphans in Zambia. From April 13 through April 20 Mayor Currin invites every Hudson student to donate one dollar of his or her own money to help pay for the educational fees of the twelve orphans at the Ubumi Transit Home.

June 2008 Update
Dear Friends:
It has been a long time since our last update, and much has happened. On the home front:
February 2008 Update
February 2008
Dear Friends of the Children:
News from Zambia:
Harriet and Novis have begun boarding school thanks primarily to a specified donation. Novi was accepted into one of the premiere high schools in Zambia. In fact, the current President of Zambia went there. Harriet is attending a Seventh Day Adventist School. Both are in Ndola, only about 45 minutes away. This is a big move for them, and a great privilege. It is difficult for many Zambians to send their children to high school.
Children of Ubumi sponsers first service trip.
We are pleased to announce that we are taking applications for our first service trip to the orphanage this coming July. Meet the children, work with the staff, learn about Zambian life and culture, and conclude with a two day safari. Click on Service Trip tab for more information.
